The joy of Jhoolan festival will start overflowing from Sawan Shukla Tritiya in hundreds of temples of Ramnagari. While in some temples, Jhoolan festival will be celebrated from Panchami Tithi i.e. 9th August. Jhoolan festival will be celebrated in Ramlala’s court from Sawan Shukla Panchami Tithi. Its preparations have almost been completed. The festival idol of Ramlala and his four brothers will be placed on a silver swing and cultural evenings will be organised every day.
The historic Sawan Jhula Mela of Ramnagari will start from August 7. There is a different tradition of Jhulanotsav in the temples of Ayodhya. Jhulanotsav starts from Panchami Tithi in the court of Ramlala. Dr. Anil Mishra, a member of Shriramjanmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust, said that Jhulanotsav will be celebrated by placing the festival idol of Ramlala and the four brothers seated in Ram Janmabhoomi on a silver swing. A swing made of 21 kg silver was prepared for Ramlala in 2022 itself. A cultural evening will also be organized every day from 6 to 7 pm.
50% work of the second floor of Ram Mandir is complete
The speed of Ram Mandir construction work has also been increased. On the other hand, the work of the second floor of Ram Mandir is going on at a fast pace. The construction of the second floor will be completed by the first week of November. The height of the second floor will be 19.5 feet. So far, pillars up to 10 feet height have been installed. In this sense, about 50 percent of the work of the second floor has been completed. Dr. Anil Mishra, a member of Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust, said that the construction work of Ram Mandir is going on as per the stipulated time frame. The construction of the temple including the peak will be completed by December. After the completion of the construction work of the second floor, the peak will be given the final touch. After this, the work of installing the religious flag on the peak will begin.
