This number used to be around two thousand on normal days. Seven slots have been set by the Ram Mandir Trust for VIP darshan. A limited number of passes are issued in each slot.

Ram temple trustee Dr. Anil Mishra said that all the slots of VIP Darshan are being booked two to three days in advance. For the convenience of devotees, advance booking was facilitated. All the slots till January 11 have been full. He said that there is a bath of Magh Purnima on January 12, lakhs of devotees are likely to rise. Therefore, on January 12, there will be a ban on issuing VIP passes.

The path connecting Ramgulela to Ramjanmabhumipath has been closed for a long time. This path also played an important role in controlling the crowd of Ram temple. It was told that the construction work of the road is going on, so the road has been closed. The same is sent to the Ramjanmabhoomi path from next to the Amawa temple to the smooth pass holders. This route can also be used for crowd control. Local shopkeepers will also benefit from opening this path, if devotees come here, shopping will also increase.
