Expansion
Efforts have begun to speed up the construction of Ram Mandir. In this sequence, the pace of construction of the fort has been increased. 200 more workers have been employed for the construction of the fort. The target has been set to complete the construction of the fort by April 2025.
A total of 8 lakh cubic feet of stones are to be used in the 750 meter long and 14 feet high rampart. So far only about 4.25 lakh cubic feet of stones have been used. Due to adverse weather and shortage of labourers, the pace of construction of the rampart had slowed down. The chairman of the temple construction committee Nripendra Mishra had also expressed concern over the slow pace of construction.
Now the speed of work has been increased by increasing the number of workers. 50 percent of the work of construction of the rampart is complete. Stones have been placed up to a height of seven feet. Six lakh cubic feet of stones have also arrived. The construction work of the six temples being built in the rampart is also going on at a fast pace. The construction work of Mata Bhagwati’s temple has been accelerated. At the same time, the number of workers for the construction of Ram temple will also be increased soon.
