After bathing in Saryu, there is a tradition of applying sandalwood tilak to the devotees on the ghats and Ram ki Paadi. The trend of getting Shri Ram written on the face along with the forehead has also increased. Most of the priests doing this work here shifted to the vicinity of Ram temple on Tuesday.
This is because the crowd here seemed eager to break their old records. On the other hand, as the crowd of devotees increased at Hanumangarhi, the arrangement of single route for darshan was made effective from noon.
After the installation of the new idol of Ramlala, the view around the Navya Ram temple appeared changed on Tuesday. Most of the people doing small business related to religion made their camp here. In this, the highest number of priests applied sandalwood tilak.
One such priest, Sudarshan Tiwari, said that today there was not much crowd at Saryu Ghat and Ram Ki Paidi. Meanwhile, information was received that there was a queue of devotees at the Ram temple since the beginning of the month, so most of the priests came here.
