Ram devotees from across the country and the world have donated generously for the construction of Ram temple. On the very first day of Pran Pratistha, Ramlala received a donation of Rs 3.17 crores.

Rs 10 crore has been donated for the Ram temple by Mahavir Temple of Patna. Mahavir Temple has donated Rs 2 crore each for Ram Temple in the years 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024. This is the largest donation given by any religious institution. A gold bow and arrow has also been gifted by Mahavir Temple. Spiritual guru Morari Bapu has dedicated a fund of Rs 11 crore to the Ram Mandir Trust on behalf of his devotees. Gujarat’s diamond businessman Govindbhai Dholakia has also donated Rs 11 crore.

Mukesh Ambani along with his wife Nita Ambani, daughter Isha and son-in-law Anand Piramal had attended the Pran Pratistha ceremony on 22 January. According to trust sources, Ambani has dedicated a fund of more than two crores. Diamond businessman Dilip Kumar Lakhi has donated 101 kg of gold. Its price is being estimated at Rs 68 crore.

It is being told that this gold has been used in doors, trident and damru. Similarly, Surat businessman Mukesh Patel has gifted a gold crown worth Rs 11 crore for the idol of Lord Ram, which is studded with precious stones. Its weight is six kilograms. It contains six kilos of gold, while it is studded with diamonds and other precious stones.

3500 crores were received in fund dedication campaign

During the construction of Ram temple, a 45-day fund dedication campaign was run by the Trust in the year 2022. Prakash Gupta, office in-charge of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, said that in this campaign, fund dedication was taken from the devotees through receipts of Rs 10, 100 and 1000. About 13 crore families of the country had dedicated the fund. Donations worth Rs 3500 crore were received at that time.
