Expansion
Preparations for the establishment of Ram Darbar on the first floor of Ram Mandir have intensified. While the child Ram is seated on the ground floor of the Ram temple, King Ram will be seated on the first floor along with his brothers, mother Sita and the supreme devotee Hanuman. Different idols will be made for everyone. Brainstorming has started regarding which stone the statues will be made on. It is believed that Balakram, seated in the sanctum sanctorum, is of dark complexion, so the idol of King Ram will also be built on the dark rock.
The idol of child Ram was carved on Shyam Shila which came from Karnataka. It was sculpted by renowned sculptor Arun Yogiraj. Now the search for Shyam Shila for the idol of Rajaram has intensified. It was told that a team of the Trust visited Chennai and Karnataka and saw the stones. According to information received from sources, the statue of King Ram and Lakshman will be built on Shyam Shila in Karnataka. Whereas, since Mother Sita was white in complexion, her idol will be built on the stone of Makrana. The idols of Hanuman ji, Bharat and Shatrughan will also be made on white stone. Raja Ram’s court will be ready by the end of December.
