
The District Cricket Association is going to organize the Ayodhya Premier League on the lines of T20 in October under the supervision of Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association at Ayodhya Dham, the holy city of Shri Ram. Eight teams will participate in this competition. All these teams will be named after eight rivers of Uttar Pradesh. It will be a symbol of our culture and natural heritage. This information was given by Ayodhya Mayor Mahant Girish husband Tripathi and District Cricket Association Secretary Mohammad Umer Ahmed. He informed that all the teams participating in the competition will be selected through trials on behalf of experienced selectors of Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association. A team will be selected in 16 members, in which 11 players from Ayodhya Mandal and five players will be guest players, which can be from any district of Uttar Pradesh. This event will give a boost to cricket in Ayodhya division. Players will have to register online to join the competition. A total of 29 matches will be played in the competition, which will be played in color dress with white ball. All the official in the competition will be made available by the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association. Former international player Gyanendra Pandey will be the brand ambassador of the Ayodhya Premier League.
