Construction work of 10 projects is going on simultaneously in the Ram Janmabhoomi complex. The work of the first and second floor of the Ram temple is in progress. The construction work of the pilgrim facility center with a capacity of 25 thousand devotees has been completed. The implementing agency, State Construction Corporation, will hand it over to the trust by July 15. On Thursday, the officials of the Ram Mandir Trust held a meeting with the engineers of the implementing agency and also got to know the progress of the construction of the Ram temple.
The operation of the Pilgrim Suvidha Kendra will start after July 15. Lockers have also been made here to store the luggage of 14 thousand devotees at a time. A hospital will also be operated in a part of the Pilgrim Suvidha Kendra. Health services will be operated here by Apollo Hospital. Ram Mandir Trustee Dr. Anil Mishra said that 95 percent of the work of the first floor of Ram Mandir has been completed while 70 percent of the work of the second floor has been completed. 80 percent of the pillars have been installed on the second floor. A stone roof will be built on top of these pillars on the second floor. Out of 74 pillars on the second floor of Ram Mandir, 60 pillars have been installed. Also, the foundation work of Sheshavatar Temple and Saptmandapam has also been completed.
45% work of 200 meter long tunnel is complete
45 percent of the work of the underground tunnel for the exit of Ramlala’s visitors has been completed. Out of the 200 meter tunnel, the construction work of 85 meter tunnel has been completed. The devotees will proceed towards Kuber mound by passing through the five meter wide tunnel. This tunnel can also be used when the crowd of devotees increases in Ram temple.
The construction committee meets on Friday
The meeting of the Ram Mandir construction committee will be held on Friday. Earlier, Nripendra Mishra was to reach Ayodhya on Thursday evening but due to some reason he could not come. The Ram Mandir construction work will be reviewed in the two-day meeting on Friday and Saturday. There will be brainstorming on building a museum and increasing other facilities in the campus.
Selfie with Ram facility will be available on Darshan Path
Selfie points will be made soon on the path to visit Ramlalla. There is a plan to make selfie points named Selfie with Ram. For now, a selfie point has been started at the exit route of the Pilgrim Suvidha Kendra from Wednesday. A grand replica of child Ram has been installed here. Before depositing the mobile phone at the Pilgrim Suvidha Kendra or after taking back the mobile phone, the devotees are taking selfies and photoshoots while paying homage to the deity. In view of the crowd at the selfie points, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra is considering providing the facility of Selfie with Ram at some other places including the exit route.
