On the orders of the Supreme Court, construction work on the five acres of land obtained for the construction of a mosque in Dhannipur of Raunahi can start after the elections. The trust says that the map of the new design of the mosque has been prepared. An application will be made by the Trust to the Development Authority to get the map passed in June.
In the first phase, the proposed Mohammad Bin Abdullah Mosque will be constructed in 40 thousand square feet. In the next phase, hospital, engineering college, community kitchen and library etc. will be constructed. Secretary of Indo Cultural Foundation, Athar Hussain said that there were objections on some points regarding passing of the map, the solution for which has been found. Now the way for construction has been cleared. There is no legal hindrance in administration. The trust meeting was to be held in Ayodhya in March, after which the plan was to start construction from May. Meanwhile, we had to wait for two months before the notification for Lok Sabha elections was issued. As soon as the elections are over, a trust meeting will be held and the construction process will be taken forward rapidly.
In-charge will be appointed from June to collect donations
The Secretary said that the effort to raise funds for the construction of the mosque is about to begin. The trust has not started taking donations yet. In-charge for this will be appointed in various states from June. Accounts have been opened in HDFC, ICICI and Bank of Baroda. An application will also be made for Foreign Contribution Regulation Act i.e. FCRA to receive foreign donations.
