The process of claiming ticket in BJP for Milkipur by-election of Ayodhya is almost complete. So far, biodata along with application has been submitted by more than 24 party leaders and workers on different forums. The party leadership is in no mood to hurry in selecting the candidate.
After Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took charge of this seat in the by-election, the local organization has now focused its entire attention here. After the defeat in Ayodhya in the Lok Sabha elections, the party does not want to take any risk here.
That is why every step is being taken with caution. The organization has intensified its activities without waiting for the announcement of the candidate. Many officials are spending most of their time here.
A by-election is going to be held in Milkipur after the MLA Avdhesh Prasad defeated BJP candidate Lallu Singh and became MP. The SP has indicated that his son will be made the candidate and has asked him to make preparations.
