Angry devotees created a ruckus at Malethu Kanak Halt railway station in Kotwali area on Ayodhya railway section, not being able to sit on the train late on Tuesday evening. Later, stone pelting was also done. This broke the glass of many bogies of the train. Some devotees are also reported injured.

It was told that the Special Mahakumbh train number 6422 from Ayodhya to Prayagraj reached Malethu Kanak Halt railway station at around 07:20 pm. The number of devotees in the train was high, due to which the passengers present in the train closed the gate of several bogies from inside. As soon as the train stopped at the station, devotees tried to enter the train.

Some sat inside after hard work, but about 150 devotees could not sit and the train started running. Angry devotees started throwing stones on the train due to lack of sitting in the train. Many glasses of train bogie were damaged in stone pelting. The broken glass was also lying on the platform on Wednesday. The guard sitting in the train has also received information about the injury.

At the same time, some passengers in the train have complained to Railway Police Sultanpur. Gateman Mohammad Wasim said that information has been given to railway officials. Bikapur Kotwal Lalchand Saroj said that there was no stone pelting. Passengers were beating the door to open the gate after the train bogie gate was closed.
