If Ayodhya has once again created a world record in the eighth Deepotsav of Ramnagari Ayodhya, then there is five days of hard work of 35 thousand Ram devotees. 30 thousand volunteers of Awadh University witnessed the decoration and lighting of lamps at the Ghat in five days and the record. At the same time, about three thousand police personnel, one thousand sanitation workers, 500 decoration workers and 400 Guinness Book of World Records personnel deployed from the Ghats to Ramkatha Park also contributed in making the Deepotsav grand.

From the morning of 26th October, volunteers of Awadh University gathered at the ghats. He started the process of decorating lamps at 55 ghats of Ram Ki Paidi. About six lakh lamps were laid on the first day. The remaining lamps were placed by the evening of 27th and 28th. On November 29, the Guinness Book of World Records team started counting the lamps.
