The meeting of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust was held in the cantonment of Maniramdas under the chairmanship of Trust President Mahant Nritya Gopal Das. 10 trustees were present in the meeting, five trustees could not attend due to various reasons. Trust general secretary Champat Rai told journalists that the progress report of the temple construction along with details of income and expenditure was presented in the meeting. The anniversary of Ramlala’s life consecration ceremony was also discussed. The anniversary of Pran Pratishtha will be celebrated as Pratishtha Dwadashi. There will be no event on 22 January.
Champat Rai told that in Hindu religion there is a tradition of celebrating festivals on Hindu dates. Celebrate Ram Navami, Sawan Jhulnotsav, Ram Vivah as per Hindi date and not as per English calendar. Therefore, it has been decided that no program will be held on January 22, the date of Ramlala’s Patotsav. Ramlala’s life was consecrated on 22 January 2024, that day was Paush Shukla Dwadashi, which is also known as Kurm Dwadashi. Therefore, it has been decided to celebrate the festival of Pratistha Dwadashi on this date. In January 2025, this date is falling on 11 January. For the first year, a three-day festival will be celebrated. Based on the experience of the first year, in the second year it will be celebrated for four and five days. The outline of the festival is still being prepared.
Champat Rai said that the plan for live telecast of Aarti of all the 18 temples of Ram temple has also been discussed. Doordarshan is making permanent arrangements regarding this, so that viewers can watch the best quality broadcast. Apollo Health Care Center is being established in three thousand square feet near the Passenger Facilitation Centre. Doctors have been appointed here. Devotees will also get the facility of ECG and ultrasound here in future.
In the meeting, the deadline for construction of all other projects including the temple has been fixed as October 2025. A total of 18 temples including Ram temple will be built in the complex. Consideration is going on to install the idol on the second floor of Ram temple also. Trustee Dr. Anil Mishra, Ram Mandir construction in-charge Gopal Rao, VHP’s Sharad Sharma were present during the press conference.
