After Mahashivaratri, two and a half million people visited the court of Ramlala on Friday, while more than one and a half lakh devotees had visited by 5 pm on Saturday evening. The temple opened at five in the morning and darshan was seen till 10:30 pm. Devotees had to travel short distance to reach Ramlala’s court. Earlier, due to diversion, devotees used to walk four to five kilometers to visit Ram temple. Now the devotees are able to reach the darshan path by walking only from 500 meters to one kilometer. On Saturday, every devotee received darshan in 50 to 60 minutes.
When unexpected crowds gathered in Ramlala’s court, arrangements also collapsed. Checking of devotees also stopped. Due to this, devotees started going to Ram temple with their goods and mobiles. When the crowd became normal on Saturday, the arrangements are also returning to the tracks. The checking system has been made effective again from Saturday. At the same time, a packet of offerings is also being distributed to the devotees of Ramlala, which was closed for the last fortnight. Prasad distribution was banned from Basant Panchami in view of the gesture for the prasad among the devotees.
Arrangement will change from Sunday
The crowd situation in Ramlala’s court has now become normal. Devotees are smoothly darshan. The investigation system of devotees has been made effective again, every devotee was investigated on Saturday. The ban on carrying mobile and bags has been imposed as before.
