For the first time after the Lok Sabha elections, CM Yogi Adityanath visited Ayodhya on Tuesday evening. During this, he met the saints and religious leaders of Ramnagari separately. During this meeting, CM Yogi also expressed regret over the party’s defeat from the Faizabad Lok Sabha seat in front of the saints. He told the saints that it is the responsibility of the saints to take the honor of Ayodhya forward.
On Tuesday night, the CM dined with saints at the Saryu Guest House on the banks of the Saryu river. During this, he was seen wooing the saints. He clearly said that the BJP is facing severe criticism in the entire country due to the defeat in the Lok Sabha elections in Faizabad seat. This defeat has given an opportunity to the opposition. He asked the saints in a questioning tone that the country and the world are taunting for this defeat, Ayodhya residents are being cursed, sarcasm is being made on the saints, do you all like all this? When some saints said that they were ignored during the elections, the CM said that now we have to work beyond this, the work of the saints is to lead from the front.
The CM also expressed regret over the defeat of Faizabad at the statue unveiling ceremony. He said that many efforts have been made to give a new identity to Ayodhya. This has increased the pride of the saints and has given recognition to the people of Ayodhya. We have to try to maintain this respect. If our efforts to preserve and protect the respect received are successful, then we will remain worthy of this respect for a long time.
Saints should come forward and tell the story of Ayodhya
He also said that the responsibility of the saints is much greater. The saints themselves should come forward and tell about the new Ayodhya. They should also inspire their followers for this. There is a need to explain the difference between the earlier Ayodhya and the current Ayodhya to everyone. Let us tell you that by-elections are also going to be held on the Milkipur assembly seat of the district. This seat became vacant after the SP MLA Avdhesh Prasad became an MP from this seat. The CM in a subtle manner asked to unite to ensure victory on the Milkipur seat.
