Ayodhya. For the past several months, the number of new traders has been increasing continuously in Ayodhya zone. Last month also, Ayodhya zone is at number one in the state by registering 56.02% new traders as compared to the target. Whereas, Lucknow second and Ghaziabad second are at number two and third in this matter.
The Ayodhya zone of State GST includes nine districts of Ayodhya and Devipatan division. Till last month, 69978 dealers were registered in these zones. In July, the state headquarters had given the target of registering 3172 new traders to Ayodhya zone. In comparison to this, Ayodhya zone topped all the 20 zones of the state by registering 1777 new traders. These included 855 traders of State GST and 922 traders of Central GST.
Whereas, Lucknow II had a target of registering 2625 traders, where this time 1470 new registrations have been done, which is 56% of the target. Whereas, in Ghaziabad II, 1218 traders have been registered as compared to 2188. This is 55.67% of the target. On this achievement of Ayodhya Zone, the state headquarters has praised the officials of the zone and expected better results in the future as well.
Additional Commissioner Grade-1 Arvind Kumar said that this achievement is being achieved continuously due to a strong team. Increasing registration in State GST is in the interest of the department as well as the nation. Therefore, the dealers coming under the purview of GST should take cognizance of it themselves and come forward for registration. By paying tax on time, they also contribute to the development and progress of the nation.
