On Monday night, a high speed DCM coming from behind rammed into a parked truck near Hussain Khan on Prayagraj Highway in Ayodhya Nagar Kotwali area. After the accident, the DCM and the truck caught fire. The DCM driver was burnt alive in the accident. The police rescued him with great difficulty and took him to the district hospital where the doctors declared him dead.
A truck belonging to Santosh Sharma, a resident of Birauli Mahmoodpur in Purakalandar police station area, was already parked near Hussain Khan on Prayagraj Highway. Meanwhile, a high-speed uncontrolled DCM came from behind and collided with the truck. After the accident, both the vehicles caught fire.

In the accident, DCM driver Ravi Shankar Mishra, a resident of Paruwa in Bikapur Kotwali area, suffered severe burns. Police and fire brigade teams reached the spot and extinguished the fire and with great difficulty took the driver out and took him to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Inspector in charge Ashwani Pandey said that the body has been sent for post-mortem. The matter is being investigated.
