Annakoot Mahotsav was celebrated in Ramnagari Ayodhya on Saturday to celebrate the return of Shri Ram after conquering Lanka. 56 types of dishes were offered to the Lord in thousands of temples in Ramnagari. During this time, Ramnagari looked excited with the crowd and cheering of devotees. Fifty-six types of dishes were offered to Ram Lalla present in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi and Prasad was distributed to the devotees. Devotees of Karnataka made bhog with their own hands and dedicated it to Ramlala.
It is believed that during the 14 years of exile and the conquest of Lanka, God remained completely away from royal comforts and luxuries. Therefore, no stone should be left unturned in providing him glory when he comes to Ayodhya, in accordance with this sentiment, 56 types of dishes were offered to the Lord in thousands of monasteries and temples of Ramnagari.
