Why do you want to withdraw the petition filed in the court?

In the last election, during the counting of votes, there was a difference between the total votes cast and the counted votes, I had gone to the court regarding this. There was another case of notary in this also. Meanwhile, Awadhesh resigned from Milkipur seat after becoming MP from Ayodhya, but we did not know that the elections would be stopped due to the petition. I want elections to be held here, hence have decided to withdraw the petition.

The opposition is saying that you cannot win the elections so the elections have been postponed?

The opposition is confused. I have made complete preparations to contest the elections. Our people are campaigning and holding meetings. I will hoist the saffron flag again after contesting the elections.

Did you have any conversation with big leaders of BJP?

I have decided to withdraw the petition only after talking to the party leaders. It is expected that an order will come from the court in a day or two. We will ourselves send a copy of the order to the Election Commission so that the election date can be declared.

Do you want to contest elections?

Yes, I have contested elections against Awadhesh Prasad thrice. Have also defeated them. Working on the ground. In such a situation, I absolutely have a claim, but the decision of the organization will be final.

Will Faizabad’s defeat be counted equally in Milkipur?

We will definitely win big in Milkipur. Everyone called Faizabad as Ayodhya, similarly Milkipur should also be called Ayodhya. We have won there before also, SP did not get a big lead in Milkipur in the Lok Sabha elections.
