SP President Akhilesh Yadav has given a statement on the case of rape of a 12-year-old girl in Ayodhya. He said on the social site X that whoever is accused should be given justice by conducting a DNA test and not doing politics by making allegations. On this, BSP supremo Mayawati retorted and asked him how many DNA tests were done during the SP government. This statement of Akhilesh Yadav has come several days after the speech given by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in the assembly in which he called SP a protector of criminals and reiterated the need to take strict action against every criminal.
On Saturday, a bulldozer was run on the bakery of SP leader Moeed Khan, who was accused of rape. Investigation revealed that the accused had built this bakery by illegally occupying the land. During this, UP government minister Dr. Sanjay Nishad also reached Ayodhya and targeted Akhilesh Yadav in the matter. He said that why is he silent in this matter till now? Why has the accused not been expelled from the party? After this, Akhilesh has given a statement on X that the way to justice should be found by getting DNA test done of those who are accused in the case of misdeed, and politics should not be done by just making allegations. Whoever is guilty should be given full punishment according to the law, but if the allegations are proved false after the DNA test, then the government officials involved should also not be spared. This is the demand of justice.

On this, Mayawati has given a statement on X that the strict action being taken by the UP government against the accused in the Ayodhya gang rape case is appropriate but what should be understood by the SP saying that the DNA test of the accused should be done. Whereas SP should also tell how many DNA tests have been done against such accused in their government.
He further said that the incidents of Ayodhya and Lucknow etc. are very sad and worrying amidst the growing concerns about crime control and law and order in UP, especially about women’s safety and harassment etc. It would be better if the government takes strict steps to prevent these incidents by rising above caste, community and politics.
In this case, the accused was arrested and his bakery was demolished with the help of a bulldozer and the process of cancelling his license has been started.
