Whereas the flight from Mumbai to Ramnagari is being booked for Rs 5698. Similarly, the flight from Delhi to Ayodhya is being booked on May 8 for Rs 3300 and the flight from Ayodhya to Delhi on May 4 is being booked for Rs 3220. On May 13, flight booking for Hyderabad is going on at Rs 5465, flight booking for Kolkata and Chennai is going on at Rs 5999. In such a situation, the people of Ramnagari are taking advantage of comfortable travel by plane instead of traveling in trains.

Due to cheap flight booking, an increase of one to two thousand passengers is expected here. At present, 1500 to 2000 passengers travel daily at Maharishi Valmiki International Airport of Ramnagari. But considering the offers of summer holidays, the number of passengers may increase further.
The fares for incoming and outgoing flights to every major city of the country have been reduced by two to two and a half thousand rupees by the airline companies. In such a situation, hundreds of people are making bookings through online medium to come here and the residents of Ramnagari are making bookings to go to different cities for holidays.
Airport Director Vinod Kumar says that people are taking advantage of the offers given by the airlines on booking. It is expected that this time in the coming days three to four thousand passengers will travel daily.
