A student from Raunahi police station area of Ayodhya district was taken to different hotels for a fortnight by three youths and raped. Five of his other friends also molested her. On the complaint of the student, the police of Cantt police station has registered a case against eight people.
A student from Raunahi police station area told in the FIR that she is a BA third year student in a college and a sweeper in Ram Janmabhoomi temple. She knows a young man named Vansh Chaudhary, resident of Sahadatganj, for the last four years. On August 16, Vansh Chaudhary along with his friends Vinay and Shariq took her to a guest house in Anguri Bagh on the pretext of taking her for a walk. There, all three raped her.

After this, they took her to a garage in Banveerpur, where Vansh Chaudhary raped her again and his friend Shiva molested her in an inebriated state. Meanwhile, she remained in the clutches of the accused and on August 18 at 11:00 am, Vinay left her near Devkali bypass. On the night of August 22 and 23, Vansh Chaudhary and Vinay raped her in the same garage.
At four in the morning on 25 August, Udit, Vansh Chaudhary, Satyam and two unknown people came on the pretext of taking her to Ramjanmabhoomi and all of them molested her on the way. Due to this, the car also collided with the divider, due to which she got injured, so everyone left her near the check post. Cantt SHO Amarendra Singh said that action is being taken by registering a case against the accused.
