This time Samajwadi Party’s PDA (Backward-Dalit-Minority) card prevailed over BJP’s Ram Mandir card. The internal polarization from the city to the city foiled every move of BJP and the cycle dominated in every area. As a result, SP was successful in breaking the saffron fort of BJP.
Samajwadi Party surprised everyone by playing the Dalit card on a general seat. Awadhesh Prasad, who is considered a staunch socialist as well as a master of politics, focused completely on the theme of PDA. He continued with this theme and internally he made a strong election.
He neither made any noise nor did he show off. He did not even seem interested in conducting the scheduled road shows. In such a situation, the BJP members were not even allowed to imagine such a strong election.
Here, after the construction of Ram Mandir, the BJP camp was confident of winning with the help of Ram. There was hope of getting votes on the basis of faith. Many innovative experiments were also done to heat it up. Top leaders were also made to do Ganesh Parikrama. But not a single trick of BJP worked in front of SP’s PDA card.
In public relations, SP’s focus was on Dalit and backward dominated areas
SP kept on preparing for the elections in Dalit and backward areas with full vigor. It kept on churn the voters, the result of which came out on Tuesday. Avdhesh was successful in crossing the electoral river by securing the votes of Dalits and other backward castes along with the core votes of SP. Along with this, he also proved the decision of the top leadership to play the Dalit card to be meaningful.
Awadhesh was present at the counting place wearing a garland since morning
Avdhesh Prasad was full of confidence since morning. He reached the counting centre wearing the garland he had worn during his visit to Hanumangarhi and Panchmukhi Mahadev and he kept wearing the garland throughout. When someone questioned him, he replied with confidence that this is the garland of victory, which God himself has sent him wearing.
