Ravi Kumar Nishad, a descendant of Lord Ram’s friend Guhyaraj, was also included among the 15 guests from across the country at the consecration ceremony at the Ram temple in Ayodhya. He participated in the event with his wife. Ravi Nishad, posted as Deputy Registrar in Gorakhpur University, remained present in the sanctum sanctorum and completed the worship as per the rituals. Ravi Nishad, who came to attend the consecration ceremony, said that attending the grand event in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the most important moment of his life.
Ravi Nishad is originally a resident of Targhat situated on the banks of Saryu river in Ayodhya. It is believed that he is associated with the dynasty of Maharaja Guhyaraj. Two years ago he was appointed to the post of Assistant Registrar in Gorakhpur University. Later he was made Deputy Registrar.
While the whole nation was celebrating after the date of consecration of Ram temple in Ayodhya was announced as 22nd January, Ravi Nishad’s happiness increased further when on 16th January he received a call on his mobile from Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Committee.
