Mayor Mahant Girish husband Tripathi said that a proposal will be sent to the state government to construct a war memorial in Ayodhya as per the demand of the soldiers. Ex -servicemen and martyrs will be considered to forgive the house tax and water tax. The statue of martyr Shashank Tiwari will be installed on the basis of consent of the family. Roads around their house will be constructed. The Mayor was speaking to ex -servicemen at a dialogue program on the occasion of August revolution at Circuit House on Tuesday. He assured that a proposal to nam the Devkali underpass after Jagdamba Prasad Pandey will be passed in the Municipal Corporation Board meeting. The Mayor announced to give responsibility for the maintenance of the martyr memorial located at Civil Lines Petrol Pump Tirahe. He said that soon the elevated national flag will be established in Ram’s Paidi and Chowk. Municipal Commissioner Jayendra Kumar praised the functionality of the soldiers.
