Bikapur. Farmer Ram Tirath (45), a resident of Purva Toromfi of Bandli in the area, died in suspicious circumstances on Friday night. There was a stir in the village after his body was found on Saturday morning in a vacant wheat field outside the village. Police have sent the body for postmortem after questioning the family members.
According to family members, Ram Tirath went towards the farm late Friday evening. He did not return home at night. In the morning, the villagers who went towards the fields, after seeing their body in the vacant wheat field, informed the family members. Villagers said that the deceased was having a land dispute with a person. Due to this, the family is fearing murder. The death of the farmer has created a furore in the family. Principal Representative Ahmed Raza said that the deceased used to do hand pumps repair work along with farming. The family has two sons and two daughters besides his wife. The family is quite poor. The responsibility of raising everyone was on the deceased.
Inspector -in -charge Lalchand Saroj said that no Zahira bruises have been found on the body. The cause of death will be known only after the post -mortem report comes. Every aspect is being investigated.
