Jan Aushadhi Day was celebrated at Jan Aushadhi Kendra at Ayodhya District Hospital. Public Day is celebrated across the country on March 7 with the aim of creating awareness and belief about generic medicines among the countrymen. This day is also a day to celebrate the achievements of the Prime Minister Bharatiya Jan Aushadhi Project. In the Prime Minister Jan Aushadhi Project announced by the Modi government at the Center on November 2016, high quality generic medicines are made available by the government at 50 to 80% less than the market price. Usually all medicines are a chemical salt in a way. They are made for different diseases after research. Ayodhya MLA Ved Prakash Gupta said that health services are continuously improving. All the governments that came after independence could not bring any improvement in the field of health. Ever since the BJP government has come, medical colleges are being built in all the districts. Medicines are being provided at all CHCs and PHCs. Jan Aushadhi Kendras are also open from place to place so that health services can be easily available to the poor.
