The Ayodhya Municipal Corporation has started clamping down on the big defaulters of House Tax. The Municipal Corporation has started campaigning to attach the property of the big defaulters who have not deposited tax. On Monday, the Municipal Corporation team raided the well-known Alka Raje Hotel and Alka Tower Shopping Complex in the city in Rikabganj. The Assistant Municipal Commissioner raided the team and warned to attach the property. Alka Raje Hotel and Alka Tower owe about 38 lakh rupees tax. Assistant Municipal Commissioner Guru Prasad Pandey said that all the big defaulters of the city will be raided. Their property will be attached if the tax is not deposited. On the other hand, Ram Bhuvan Tiwari, manager of Alka Raje Hotel, said that there was some disturbance in the tax bill, which was revised. A tax of Rs 15 lakh has been deposited immediately. Time has been given till March to deposit the remaining tax.
