Devotees are being cheated in the name of darshan at the Ram temple in Ramnagari Ayodhya. Here, a fraudster from Karnataka cheated Rs 1.80 lakh by pretending to have VIP darshan to the elderly female devotee of Maharashtra. On reaching Ayodhya, when the information was known about the fraud, the victim has filed a case in Kotwali Ayodhya.

Kavita Shetty, a resident of Deen Dayal Nagar, Thane, Vishnunagar Hoiswali in Maharashtra, told in an FIR lodged in Kotwali Ayodhya that a person named Suresh Acharya had come to meet her office. He also met his mother Kasturi Shetty and pretended to be a pilgrimage.
