More than 13 crore devotees and tourists have reached Ayodhya since Ramlala’s life prestige. The annual income of the temple has crossed 700 crores. In terms of annual income, the Ram temple has left behind the Golden Temple, Vaishno Devi and Shirdi Sai Temple.

Ayodhya is providing its significant contribution in the development of the economy of Uttar Pradesh as well as the country’s economy. Currently, the number of devotees and tourists in Ayodhya is between about two to five lakhs, for which arrangements have been made to arrange universal darshan and stoppage. Due to the increasing flow of devotees, the Ram temple of Ayodhya today has reached third place in the list that earn religious donations in 10 important temples of India.

Uttar Pradesh-Uttarakhand Economic Association General Secretary Prof. Vinod Srivastava says that according to a study and estimate, the annual donation amount of Tirupati Venkateswara Temple in Andhra Pradesh was around 1500 to 1650 crores in the year 2024 -25. Second place is the Shri Padmanabham Swamy Temple of Kerala Thiruvantapuram whose annual collection is around 750 to 850 crores.
