Two people died in two separate accidents in the city and Cantt Kotwali area in Ayodhya, UP. Police sent the bodies for postmortem. In one case, the family of the deceased has given a complaint to the police.

The first accident occurred near Mau Shivala in Cantt Kotwali area at around 6 pm on Wednesday. Ram Sundar (55), a resident of Mau Yaduvanshpur Deepapur in the area, left the bicycle to get vegetables at around 06:30 pm on Wednesday evening.
The speeding bike coming from the opposite direction near the Hanuman temple in Mau Shivala hit him strongly. The bike is said to be of Nitin Singh of his village. He died due to serious injuries in the accident. Vimlesh, son of the deceased, has given a complaint to the police to register a case.
At the same time, Yuglesh Pratap Singh (61), a resident of Anjanipuram Colony in the city, was retired from the post of weighing inspector. On Thursday morning, he came out of Scooty to bring milk to Shakti Nagar Colony. While coming home around seven in the morning, the speeding car coming from Devkali hit him strongly.
The car driver escaped from the spot along with the vehicle. He was seriously injured in the accident. Local people rushed him to the district hospital at 7:40 am, where doctors declared him dead. Nagar Kotwal Ashwani Pandey informed that the vehicle who is accident is being searched.
