The noise of campaigning for the Milkipur by -election in Ayodhya district came to an end at 5 pm on Monday. Polling parties left from Government Inter College on Tuesday. Voting will be held on February 5 and counting on February 8. All preparations for voting at 414 polling sites have been completed. Videography will be conducted at 25 polling sites with web casting at 210 polling sites.

District Election Officer Chandra Vijay Singh told reporters in the Collectorate Auditorium that the by -election will be held with fair, peaceful and transparency. For this, microorbers, nine flying squad teams, nine static monitoring teams, six video monitoring teams, two super zonal magistrates, four zonal magistrates and 41 sector magistrates have been deployed at 71 polling stations.

97.26 percent polling slips have been distributed

DM said that 97.26 percent polling slips have been distributed. Instructions have been given by BLO to distribute the remaining voter slip. For the voters who do not get voting slip due to any reason, other options have been given by the Election Commission of India. This includes Aadhaar card, MNREGA job card, photo passbook issued from banks and post offices, health insurance smart cards, driving license and some other options including PAN card. SSP Rajkaran Nayyar informed that sufficient quantity of security forces have been deployed for voting on February 5. According to the standard, security personnel will reach the polling site on Tuesday with polling party departure. The rest have been deployed in their respective areas.
