The New Year 2025 will be welcomed with the darshan and worship of Ramlala. More than two lakh devotees are likely to flock to the Ram temple on Wednesday, the first day of the new year. On Tuesday, on the eve of New Year, a scene of faith was seen in Ramnagari. A huge crowd of devotees gathered in the court of Ramlala and Hanumantlala. The chants of devotees kept echoing throughout the day from Rampath to Bhakti Path.

This is the first new year after the consecration of Ramlala. A huge crowd is expected in Ayodhya on this occasion. Ramnagari has become a hub of religious tourism. The proof of this is that since last December 25, more than one lakh devotees have been reaching Ayodhya every day for the darshan of Ramlala. This number is expected to increase to two lakhs in the new year.

A record of darshan of Ramlala is also expected to be made on New Year. A large number of people will reach Ayodhya to start the first day of the new year by visiting Ramlala and Hanumangarhi. In this, along with local devotees, devotees from nearby districts and other states will also participate.
Earlier on Tuesday, more than one lakh devotees reached the court of Ramlala. Whereas in Hanumangarhi there was a queue for darshan from five in the morning till nine in the night. To control crowd, the administration has implemented traffic diversion at various places. Entry of vehicles was stopped from Tedhi Bazaar. At the same time, entry of four wheelers was restricted from Ramghat and Lata Chowk.
After the Bhoomi Pujan of Ram Temple on August 5, 2020, Corona put shackles on the feet of the devotees who had cherished the desire to come here. The year 2021 also passed under the shadow of Corona. A large number of devotees had reached here in 2022. Since then this number kept increasing. Since the consecration of Ramlala’s life in the grand temple, 70 to 80 thousand devotees are coming every day to have darshan of Ramlala.
This time the new year has brought new hopes for small and big businessmen of Ayodhya. He is fully confident that his business will get new wings in the beginning of the year itself. Vikas Gupta, who sells Prasad near Hanumangarhi, said that devotees are flocking to Ayodhya even before the New Year. A large number of devotees will come for darshan on January 1st.
