Somvati Amavasya bathing started from Monday morning in Ramnagari Ayodhya. Devotees are taking a dip of faith at the ghats of Saryu. The period of bathing and donation started from Brahma Muhurta itself. After Saryu bath, devotees are offering darshan and worship at Hanumangarhi, Ram Janmabhoomi, Nageshwar Nath and Kanak Bhawan. There is a tradition of bathing in holy rivers on Somvati Amavasya. By bathing in holy rivers one attains Akshaya Purna.
