As part of a special religious event, a 180 kg gold plated Shri Ram Yantra, which is made of Ashtadhatu, has arrived in Sangamnagari Prayagraj. This instrument has reached Prayagraj traveling in a special chariot from Andhra Pradesh, passing through many states including Madhya Pradesh.
The form of this chariot is no less than a temple, in which the form of Shri Kanchi Kamakoti Peeth is depicted. Pictures of Jagadguru and Mata Kamakshi Devi have been consecrated inside the chariot and Shri Ram Yantra has been placed in front of them.
Swami Ramachandran Maharaj, the chief priest of this yatra, told that this yatra passed through five states and reached Sangamnagar. Shri Ram Beej Mantra is written in the Yantra and it is surrounded by mantras of Gods and Goddesses. Shriyantra Rath Yatra has left from Prayagraj for Ayodhya.
The instrument has been designed under the guidance of Jagadguru Swami Vijayendra, the 70th Peethadhipati of Kamakoti Peeth. The specialty of Shri Ram Yantra is that this Yantra will go to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple of Ayodhya via Prayagraj.
There Sahastra Chandi Vishwa Shanti Mahayagya and rituals will be conducted for 45 days by more than 1200 Vedic Ritviks. After this this Mahayantra will be consecrated in the temple of God. A large number of devotees arrived to have darshan of Shri Ram Yantra.
