This year’s Diwali was special. Nearly five centuries later, Ramlala was enshrined in the grand temple, having lived in a simple tent for years. This Diwali was also important because for the first time Ram Lalla was seen immersed in the colors of the festival of lights amidst the devotion and reverence of the devotees in his grand residence.
An age-old aspiration came alive and brought extraordinary sanctity and grandeur to this festival of lights. Every Sanatani and every devotee of Lord Ram waited centuries for this historic moment. The return of the glorious era with this Diwali brings back memories of Treta Yuga, when Lord Ram returned to Ayodhya after completing 14 years of exile.
Then the people of Ayodhya had illuminated every corner of the city with thousands of lamps to welcome their idol. This time, in the joy of Lord Ram being seated in his magnificent temple, people illuminated his grand temple as well as the entire Ayodhya city with not thousands but lakhs of lamps. The flame of each lamp was telling the story of faith and devotion towards Lord Rama.
This Diwali was more than a festival for the people in the presence of Ram Lalla present in the unique architectural signature, grand and supernatural Ram Temple. After countless years of struggle, sacrifice and unwavering hope, the temple of Lord Ram stands proudly on the sacred land of Ram Janmabhoomi. This temple is not just a temple, but it is a powerful symbol of Indian culture, faith and unbreakable spirit.
The construction of the Ram Temple is a revival of an ancient spiritual era, an awakening that breathes new life into the spirit of India’s heritage and devotion. This sacred place connects us to our deep roots. Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, this grand temple has emerged before the world as a ray of unity, a symbol of India’s cultural pride.
For Modi ji, it was more than a construction project, it was truly a national mission, a spiritual awakening inspired by the devotion and contribution of millions of people. Every stone laid in the temple, every prayer and every act of devotion reflects the spirit of the people bound together by the thread of faith, a bond which no force can break. This Diwali, may it continue to light the way for generations to come.
Hopes and dedication of generations are linked
In 1984, the efforts of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and the BJP injected a new enthusiasm into the temple construction movement, uniting people across the country. In this way the path was paved for realizing the timeless dream of building a temple. Lal Krishna Advani’s Rath Yatra and the historic decision of the Supreme Court in 2019 propelled this movement towards a decisive conclusion. Its success, a dream cherished by five centuries of struggle and countless sacrifices, came true on January 22 when PM Modi inaugurated this grand temple.
Not only the country but people from every corner of the world have contributed in its construction. The sentiments of millions of people are attached to this temple. The hopes and dedication of generations and the strong commitment of PM Modi have played an important role in realizing this aspiration. By including the concept of Ram Rajya in his policies, PM Modi has promoted the renaissance of Indian culture.
