Discussions have been going on for a long time on the festival schedule of Ram Mandir, but no concrete initiative has been taken in this direction. Right now, only traditional festivals of Ayodhya are being organized in Ram Mandir, but new festivals will be added to it in future. According to information received from trust sources, more than a dozen festivals will be celebrated in Ram Mandir throughout the year. After the Pran Pratishtha of Ramlala, this year Shri Krishna Janmashtami was also celebrated with great pomp in Ramlala’s court for the first time. Although Janmashtami was celebrated earlier as well, but it was limited to performing the tradition.

According to trust sources, a committee is soon going to be formed to prepare the annual festival calendar, which will give its proposal after consulting various scholars and saints. Further decision will be taken accordingly. The date of Pran Pratishtha and Bhoomi Pujan will also be included in the festival calendar. A plan will be made to celebrate the festival on this date.
