18 temples including Ram Mandir are being constructed in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi premises. The work on the first floor of Ram Mandir is almost complete. The construction of the second floor is underway. Ram Darbar is to be established on the first floor of Ram Mandir. The Pran Pratishtha of Ram Darbar is also planned to be done around 22 January. Ramlala’s Pran Pratishtha was done on this date.
The making of idols for the establishment of Ram Darbar on the first floor is going on in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The work of shaping these idols is being done on white marble stone. The height of the Shrivigraha of Ram Darbar will be about 4.5 feet. The idols of Shri Ram, Sita, Laxman, Hanuman, Bharat and Shatrughan are being carved for Ram Darbar. Similarly, Sapta Mandapam is being established in the premises in which temples of seven characters contemporary to Shri Ram are being built. Out of these, the work of two temples is 70 percent complete. While the work of three temples is 40 to 50 percent complete, while the construction of two temples has just started. The importance of the idols to be installed in Sapta Mandapam is great because they were the companions of Lord Ram during the Ramayana period.
Recently, Nripendra Mishra, the chairman of the Ram Mandir Nirman Samiti, had said in a statement that the construction of all the temples of Sapt Mandapam and the idols of Ram Darbar will be completed by the end of November or the first week of December. After this, the trust has to decide when their Pran Pratishtha will be done. It is expected that the idols will be installed in January itself. According to the information received from the trust sources, preparations are on to do the Pratishtha Puja of Ram Darbar on the first floor around 22 January 2025. There is also a plan to install idols in the temples of Sapt Mandapam on the same date.
The annual festival of Pranapratishtha will be celebrated on 22 January
The date of 22 January 2024 is very important not only for Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra but also for Ram devotees. The Ram Mandir Trust is preparing to organize the annual festival on this date with full grandeur. After a long struggle of 500 years, Ramlala’s Pran Pratishtha took place on 22 January. This date is important in the history of India and Ayodhya. Therefore, preparations for a grand celebration on this date have already started. However, its form has not been revealed yet.
