Ayodhya. Another positive effort is being made towards developing Ramnagari as a world-class city. Under the aspirational plan of Swachh Bharat Mission, the Yogi government has decided to build 20 luxury toilets at religious places, major markets, railway stations and bus stations and other public places. These toilets will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology and facilities.
Ayodhya has been included in this scheme because it is a major religious city. The process of identifying and marking sites for the construction of 20 luxury toilets is underway. The state government is striving to realize the dreams of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Mission. The government intends that the state should be at the top in terms of cleanliness. For this, work is being done on an important plan to build luxury toilets in all major cities and cities with religious sites. These facilities will be provided in luxury toilets
Luxury toilets will have touchless flushing, luxurious bathrooms, breastfeeding room, hand dryer, vending machine for paper napkins and sanitary napkins. Low height toilets and wash basins will be built for children. Apart from this, automatic flushing, odorless and sensor based operation, self cleaning mechanism, better cleaning practices will provide a comfortable user experience.

Tender process has started, it will cost Rs 50 lakh
Municipal Corporation Executive Engineer Punita Ojha said that 20 luxury toilets will be built in the city at a cost of Rs 50 lakh. So far two sites, Chowk and Collectorate, have been selected. The tender process has started. Soon, Mayor Mahant Girish Pati Tripathi and Municipal Commissioner Santosh Sharma will finalize the selection process of other sites as well.
