Ayodhya. Gatka competition was organized under the two-day 68th State School Sports Competition at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar State School Sports Institute Sports Stadium Maqbara. Khushi of Agra in the individual competition of the competition, Madhu of Meerut in the 19 years age group, Sania of Varanasi in single soti, Bhoomi of Kanpur in Fari Soti competition won gold medals.
In the single soti girls individual event, Sania of Varanasi defeated Sapna Pal of Ayodhya in the semi-finals and secured a place in the finals. Tanu of Saharanpur defeated Palak of Kanpur and secured a place in the finals. In the final match, Sania of Varanasi defeated Tanu and won the gold medal.
In the girls-19 years individual fari soti competition, Bhoomi of Kanpur defeated Varanasi and won the title. In the boys 19 years age group single soti competition, Vaibhav Ayodhya defeated Aadarsh of Agra and won the gold medal.
In the Fari Soti individual competition for boys, Radheshyam Ayodhya defeated Rishal Kumar of Kanpur and won the gold medal. On this occasion, divisional sports secretary Dharmendra Singh, Abhishek Singh, Vijendra Singh, Jayendra Pathak, Rahul Verma, Alok Kumar, Pushpa Yadav, Kavita, Pooja Goswami were present.
