Ayodhya. Hanumangarhi exit road has been closed after Hanumanji’s Bhog Aarti on Wednesday afternoon. The exit road will remain closed till October 2. Hanumangarhi Akhara has taken this decision with the aim of speeding up the widening work of the exit road.
On Wednesday, following the instructions of the incumbent Mahant Premdas, his disciple Mahant Dr. Mahesh Das, Mahant Sanjay Das, successor of the top Mahant Gyan Das of Hanumangarhi and wrestler Rajesh Das inspected the widening work of the exit route. Mahant Sanjay Das said that more than one lakh devotees visit Hanumangarhi daily. The pace of widening is being affected due to the continuous crowd of devotees. In such a situation, the exit route is being closed to complete the widening work soon.
Meanwhile, the widening work will be completed faster by increasing the number of workers. About 100 workers will work day and night. Mahant Sanjay Das said that the same stones used in the Ram temple, i.e. pink stones of Rajasthan, are being used in the beautification work of Hanumangarhi. For this, artisans from Rajasthan have also come to Ayodhya and inspected. Two lifts are also being installed in the temple.

The exit route will be 51 feet high
– Mahant Dr. Mahesh Das said that the exit route will be 51 feet high and 27 feet wide. After it is built, two gates will be installed on the stairs above it where the channel gate is currently. The sanctum sanctorum of Hanumangarhi is currently 10 feet, which will be made about 25 feet. Other idols installed in the temple are being shifted back. They will be consecrated later.
