Cases of scams are also coming to light in the name of health services provided to devotees during the Pran Pratishtha of Shri Ramlala. Three firms which were ready to provide 40 ambulances at a low rate were ignored and the contract was given to a firm which offered Rs 10 lakh more and the remaining firms were declared ineligible. One firm which was declared ineligible also filed a complaint, which was ignored.
The consecration of Ramlala in Shri Ram Mandir was on 22 January. Lakhs of devotees were to reach from far and wide in this one month long world class event. Resources in the district were insufficient to provide better health services to them. Therefore, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak held a review meeting in Ram Katha Museum. Principal Secretary Medical Health, Director General Health and state and district officials participated in it. He had given instructions to keep the health services in order on the lines of Kumbh.
In compliance with this, the Health Department demanded 58 ambulances, for which two tenders were issued. A bid number-4397223 was issued on 27 December 2023 for 40 ambulances. Different firms participated in it and five firms reached the technical bid. Among them, Bharti Ambulance Services was ready to work for Rs 84,01,200, Eminence Youth Power Private Limited for Rs 89,94,000, M/s Ansh Enterprises for Rs 90 lakh, Unique Plus Cardiac Service for Rs 94.80 lakh and Rakshak Ambulance for Rs 1.70 crore. But the first three firms were declared ineligible and the work was given to Unique Plus Cardiac Service for Rs 10 lakh more. Now after the complaint, its investigation has also started.
The firm which was ready to work for Rs 89.94 lakh had complained
Eminence Youth Power Private Limited, which was ready to do the work for Rs 89.94 lakh in the tender process, had complained about the matter to the Divisional Commissioner. In the complaint letter, manager Rajeev Kumar Mishra had alleged that six reasons were given for disqualifying the firm. While all the records were available on the portal at the time of placing the bid. On 12th January, those records were made available through the Gem portal with a second representation. On 14th January, despite providing all the records, his firm was disqualified and a firm with a higher rate was selected in an illegal manner. He had demanded that the entire bid process be investigated at a competent level and the bid be cancelled.

The government has been asked to investigate this matter and submit a report. A committee has been formed for this. After closely investigating every point, the government will be informed about the actual situation. -Dr. Sushil Prakash, Additional Director, Ayodhya Division
