Doors Of Linguistic Employment Are Opening For Sindhi Students – Ayodhya News


Ayodhya. Gyanprakash Tekchandani Saral, Advisor of Kanwarram Sahib Sindhi Study Centre of Avadh University, said that the theme of International Literacy-2024 is to promote multilingual education for mutual understanding and peace. Due to this, students of Sindhi subject pursuing secondary to higher education are very excited. Doors of linguistic employment are opening for them.

Tekchandani was addressing an online discussion of Sindhi students associated with the Sindhi Study Centre on International Literacy Day. He informed that a workshop of Navbharat Literacy Programme Ullas was held at the Sindhi Centre of the University on behalf of NCERT under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. In this, Sindhi scholars from all over the country did preliminary work on the creation of four types of Ullas Praveshikas for adults above 15 years of age, which is still going on.

National Literacy Cell in-charge Usha Sharma said that under the recommendations of National Education Policy-2020, basic literacy and numeracy syllabi have been prepared in 22 languages ​​including Sindhi which are scheduled in the Indian Constitution. Through this, a plan is being worked on to make more than 25 crore illiterates literate by 2030. Online modules and video programs for learners or volunteer teachers will also be available in all languages, which will provide opportunities for linguistic employment.

Honorary Director of Sindhi Centre, Prof. Sameer Raizada praised the project of Ullas Praveshika. He said that this will develop mutual understanding among Indian languages.
