Ayodhya. There are allegations of irregularities in the tender for the Communicable Disease Program in November 2023 in the CMO office. It has been claimed that the order was given directly in December 2023 without opening the tender. There are many other allegations in the matter of tenders. However, its reality will come to the fore only after the investigation is completed.

Rudauli MLA Ramchandra Yadav has complained to the Chief Minister alleging irregularities in tenders in the CMO office. On this, the Additional Director has started an investigation on the instructions of the government. A complaint letter attached with the MLA’s letter states that bid number 4214630 was invited on the Gem portal on November 16, 2023 for the Communicable Disease Program. It was to be opened on November 27, but instead of doing so, the order was directly given in December. It is mentioned that in the bids made on the Gem portal in the financial year 2023-24, there is a detail of ACMO Ayodhya for EMD security amount. In the additional terms of the bid, CMO has been mentioned for EMD. Whereas there is no account in these two names. EMD and security amount should be in the name of the District Health Committee.

It is alleged that in this financial year there was no committee approved by the District Health Committee for evaluation of bids in the CMO office. In none of the committees the District Magistrate himself or his nominated member was included as a representative. It is alleged that the computer operator and other posts in the drug warehouse were to be deployed through outsourcing but the recruitment was done under contract. They have to work in the drug warehouse but these people are found only in the CMO office. Additional Director Dr. Sushil Prakash said that the matter is being investigated. Statements of the parties will also be recorded. After collecting the evidence the report will be sent to the government.
