There was a jam due to encroachment on the footpath of Katra Tiraha in Rudauli town.
Bhelsar. The footpaths of the market lanes including the main road of Rudauli town are under encroachment. Even after the notice given by the municipality a fortnight ago, the footpath shopkeepers did not remove the encroachment. Even now the encroachment on the footpaths of the entire town continues. Due to this, travelling on the road has become difficult. The road has become narrow due to encroachment.
Be it the Katra Tiraha of the city or the Nawab Bazaar area. In both these crowded areas, vehicles are seen crawling due to traffic jams throughout the day. The reason for this is that carts and temporary shops are set up on the tracks. Due to this, vehicles plying on the road have to pass through the jam. The worst situation is of Purekhan, Nawab Bazaar, Katra Tiraha. Here the encroachers have occupied the tracks up to the road.
Not only this, the condition of the inner lanes of the city is even worse; walking is also difficult as hundreds of shops are set up on the roads. Be it the main road or the lane, the wide road here which looks wide in the morning becomes just three to four feet wide after the shops open. In this regard, Rudauli Nagar Palika EO Suresh Kumar Maurya said that the time limit for encroachment will be fixed soon. All the encroachers have already been warned through notices to vacate the tracks. This time, an anti-encroachment campaign will be run on a large scale.
