Three people died and two were seriously injured in a road accident near Mau Shivala in the Cantt police station area of Ayodhya on Sunday morning. The injured were rushed to the district hospital where emergency doctor Ashish Pathak admitted them and started their treatment. The injured have been identified as Satyam (24), son of Ram Vijay, resident of Than village Nandpur in Sitapur district and Shailendra (18), son of Vinod Kumar, resident of the same place. While the deceased have not been identified yet.
The details of which vehicles were involved in the incident are not yet available. Police have reached the spot and are investigating the matter.
