Ayodhya. Maps for commercial construction will not be approved in Majha Jamthara. Here, only the maps presented for parks, playgrounds, sports training centers, sports complexes, parks and picnic spots will be approved by the Ayodhya Development Authority. There was confusion after the land here was de-notified. The commissioner himself along with the ADA has tried to clear this.
Commissioner Gaurav Dayal said that village Majha Jamthara is located near Ram Ki Paidi and Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple. According to Ayodhya Master Plan-2031, the category of land use of this area is park and open space. This means that only the maps presented for park, playground, sports training center, sports complex, caravan park and picnic spot will be approved on the land of village Majha Jamthara located between Chaudahkosi, Panchkosi and Bandha road as per Ayodhya Master Plan-2031.
According to the building construction and development bye-laws, the norms of land cover of 2.5% and FAR of 0.025 are applicable for park and open space land use. Maps of any other commercial activity such as mall, shopping complex, hotel and township cannot be approved here.
Ayodhya Development Authority Vice President Ashwani Pandey said that it is proposed to establish Indian Temple Architecture Museum in village Majha Jamthara. For the construction of this museum, Nazul land from Gata number 57 has been allotted to the Tourism Department. For the construction of the museum, the process of land use change of 55 acres of land of Majha Jamthara, which is owned by the Nazul Department, is underway.
