Sapta Mandapam temple under construction in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi complex
Ayodhya. Apart from Ram Mandir, work is also going on on many other projects in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi premises. Sapta Mandapam is also being constructed in the premises. Temples of seven contemporary characters of Ram are to be built. Along with this, the plan to build a temple of Goswami Tulsidas, who spread the story of Shri Ram to the masses, has also been approved. This temple will be set up in the pilgrim facility center complex set off from Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Darshan Path.
A marble statue of Goswami Tulsidas will be installed here. This statue will be made from Noida. The three feet high statue will reach Ayodhya by October and in the month of November this statue will be installed in the pilgrim facility center premises. Let us tell you that before this there was no idea of installing the statue of Goswami Tulsidas. Renowned Katha Vyas Morari Bapu, who came to Ayodhya during Prana Pratishtha, had suggested to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust General Secretary Champat Rai to build a temple of Tulsidas as well. After this, General Secretary Champat Rai put this suggestion in the trust meeting and it was agreed upon. Mahant Dinendra Das, a member of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, says that there has been a consensus on building a temple of Tulsidas. Ayodhya is the birthplace of Lord Shri Ram as well as Ramcharit Manas. It was from Ayodhya that Goswami Tulsidas composed the Balakand of Ramcharit Manas and paved the way to take the story of Ram to the masses.
