On one hand, the rain drenched Ramnagari, on the other hand, on the fourth Monday of Sawan, a flood of faith surged in the Shiva temples. From the Brahmamuhurta itself, Ramnagari started echoing with the chants of Har Har Bam Bam. The devotees of Shiva who had gathered in Ramnagari anointed Bhole Baba, while Lord Indra anointed the devotees of Shiva.
In Ramnagari, amidst the showers of Sawan, there was also a rain of faith. There was a queue of devotees in Shiva temples since morning and cheers kept resonating.
The administration has done route diversion for crowd control.
The queue of devotees for Jalabhishek in Shiva temples started from 4 am itself. Shiv devotees kept standing in line chanting Har Har Mahadev while getting drenched in the rain.
In view of the huge crowd, the entry of four-wheelers has been banned in Ayodhya. Tight security arrangements have been made. The entire fair area is being monitored through CCTV.
