Ayodhya. Many permanent shops were constructed on the land of the primary school in Bhadarsa. This was revealed in the investigation report prepared after the measurement by Sohawal Tehsil administration and Bharatkund Bhadarsa Nagar Panchayat. Also, the road leading to Phulwaria from near the school has also been encroached upon. SDM Sohawal has submitted this report to DM Chandra Vijay Singh.
On the instructions of the DM, a joint team led by SDM Ashok Saini and Nagar Panchayat EO Indra Pratap measured the land of the primary school spread over 1600 square meters. During the measurement, the officers came to know that the entire playground of the school had been encroached. After this, the records related to the school land were also searched.
On matching the records and the measurement report, it has become clear that many permanent shops built on the left side of the main road of the town near the school have also been built illegally. These shops are being operated fearlessly for the last several years. The role of Nagar Panchayat Chairman Mohammad Rashid and his former chairman is also under suspicion. Many shops including bakery, readymade clothes and grocery are running here.
Regarding this, SDM Sohawal told Amar Ujala that after the process of measuring the land of the primary school was completed, a complete report regarding illegal encroachments has been prepared. He admitted that a large part of the school land is under illegal occupation. The permanent shops built on the main road are also on the school land. The school land will be freed by removing all these illegal encroachments.
The deadline for removing encroachment from the school playground is over
The time period given by the Nagar Panchayat to remove the temporary shops encroaching on the playground in front of the primary school has expired. Despite this, the shops could not be removed from here. In such a situation, the school children are still forced to remain confined in the campus. Their sports activities are also stopped as before. Due to the crowd of people at the shops right in front of the school all the time, the school has to be closed from inside and locked.
